Schmidt’s Jewelry Supports the Cares for Kids Radiothon
Partnering with Sanford Children’s Hospital to Make a Difference
At Schmidt’s Gems & Fine Jewelry, our commitment to community extends to supporting initiatives like the Cares for Kids Radiothon, benefiting Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo. This annual event, hosted by local radio stations Froggy 99.9, Y94, and KFGO, shares inspiring stories from children and families who have received care at Sanford Children’s Hospital.
The 25th annual Cares for Kids Radiothon took place on January 30 and 31, 2025, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Listeners were encouraged to contribute, with 100% of every dollar raised staying local to support young patients in North Dakota and northwest Minnesota.
In 2024, the radiothon raised over $180,000, showcasing the community’s generosity and dedication to supporting children’s health. The 2025 event surpassed expectations, raising $226,000 to support Sanford Children’s Hospital.
