At Schmidt’s Gems & Fine Jewelry, our commitment to community involvement is exemplified through our enduring partnership with American Gold Gymnastics (AGG). Founded on the principle of fostering self-belief through quality gymnastics instruction, AGG currently mentors over 1,500 athletes, guiding them to become confident individuals both inside and outside the gym.
Our owner, Brenda Giere, has been deeply involved with AGG, serving as a dedicated board member and volunteer. Her personal connection to the organization is profound, with both of her daughters actively participating in AGG’s programs. Notably, her youngest daughter is set to graduate this year, marking a significant milestone in their family’s journey with AGG.
Reflecting on her involvement, Brenda shares, “Being part of AGG has been a rewarding experience. Witnessing my daughters and countless other young gymnasts grow and excel has been truly inspiring.”
AGG offers a comprehensive range of programs catering to various age groups and skill levels:
- Recreational Program: Provides gymnastics instruction for children aged 7 months to 18 years, covering all levels from beginner to advanced.
- Competitive Teams: Offers opportunities for both girls and boys at various levels, including Developmental, Junior Olympic, Xcel, and TOPs programs.
- Gym Adventures: Designed to foster excitement for physical activity among preschool-aged children, this program includes playtime in the foam pit, group games, trampoline sessions, and engaging activities on gymnastics equipment.
AGG’s commitment to nurturing young talent aligns seamlessly with Schmidt’s values of fostering growth and excellence within our community. We are honored to support AGG and look forward to continuing our collaboration, ensuring that young gymnasts have the resources and encouragement they need to succeed.
Through our partnership with AGG, Schmidt’s Gems & Fine Jewelry reaffirms its dedication to giving back to the community, supporting programs that empower youth, and contributing to the enrichment of the Fargo-Moorhead area.
